Ron and his family on his mom’s side stopped by after Bev & Summy’s wedding to visit his grandmother. She lives in a convalescent home in Glendale. Unfortunately, the staff won’t let her walk anymore because she’s taken some falls and broken some bones, so she gets pushed around in a wheel chair. Plus she gets strapped into bed at other times so she won’t try to get out of bed and risk falling. She is still mentally together, however. When I first came into her room, she thought I was a doctor coming to exam her; I was still dressed up from the wedding and she doesn’t wear her glasses while she’s at the facility.
