The Venice Ponies won the championship of the VFW tournament 7th Grade Girls Silver division. As part of our trip to San Diego for the San Diego Classic, the El Segundo High School Girls Basketball Team had lunch at Seau’s Restaurant in Mission Valley. The girls punked their coach by telling the waitress it was her birthday. Jul 4 2010

Once again, we traveled to Las Vegas for the annual Hollywood Dodgers basketball tournament. We stayed at the Desert Paradise Resort, but this time booked a two bedroom unit. Morgan’s basketball team, the Venice Ponies, played the first game of three last night. They beat the FOR Hula Hoops 11 to 5. Morgan had a basket in the second half, getting the ball down in the low wing and driving to the hoop. More pictures here. |
