As part of our trip to San Diego for the San Diego Classic, the El Segundo High School Girls Basketball Team had lunch at Seau’s Restaurant in Mission Valley.

The girls punked their coach by telling the waitress it was her birthday.

4th of July Booth

The El Segundo High School girls basketball team held a fund raiser at the 4th of July celebration at Recreation Park in El Segundo. They sold Chinese Chicken Salad, Spam Musubis, and baked goods.

Hollywood Dodgers Tournament

Once again, we traveled to Las Vegas for the annual Hollywood Dodgers basketball tournament. We stayed at the Desert Paradise Resort, but this time booked a two bedroom unit. The Angels won one game, while the Ponies were shutout this year, but we all had fun just being in Las Vegas.

Memorial Day

Pasadena Tournament

Morgan’s basketball team, the Venice Ponies, played the first game of three last night. They beat the FOR Hula Hoops 11 to 5. Morgan had a basket in the second half, getting the ball down in the low wing and driving to the hoop.
