Stephanie, Morgan, and Ron run the Torrance Turkey Trot on Thankgiving Day. Paula Carlson also joined us, and Paula’s daughter, Eliisa, also ran, but Eliisa ran with her Cross Country teammates from South High.

Run For Education

Ron, Stephanie, and Morgan ran the Run for Education this year. Morgan ran (or, mostly walked) because she could get extra credit for PE. She picked up Emiko from Iris along the way, so Emiko got some exercise. It’s a fairly hilly course, especially the last mile.

Morgan’s 13th Birthday Party

We held a lock-in laser tag party at Laser Storm in Torrance for Morgan's 13th birthday. Ron stayed up all night with the girls. Actually, only a few stayed up all night. Most had gone to sleep, at least for a couple of hours, in one of the event rooms.

Dinner with the Quans

2010 VFW Tournament

The Venice Ponies won the championship of the VFW tournament 7th Grade Girls Silver division. The championship game was very exciting, with the 98 Tigerettes jumping out to a 10-0 lead early in the game. Camp Musubi

Morgan is attending Camp Musubi this week. The program is part educational and a lot of fun, with the focus on the Nikkei (Japanese immigrant) culture. This year, participants will be visiting Tanaka Farms in Orange County.
