Cal Waller's retirement on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010. Cal retired after 42 years at CSC. At the time of his retirement, Cal was the 4th longest-standing employee at CSC and he had served under all of the company's CEOs. Our current project, which Cal has been guiding, is said to be the company's longest active contract, now in its 23rd year.

November 10, 2010. El Segundo High School Surf Team had a dual meet against North/West at El Porto. Stephanie placed first in girls long board, Kristin Bucher placed second in girls short board, and Samantha Vinzon placed third in girls long board.

We celebrate Christmas with Ron's side of the family. We first had dim sum at Happy House Chinese Restaurant before going to the Low's house in Seal Beach. We had to make it an early celebration because Stephanie's high school team was playing in a basketball tournament in Whittier that evening.

We had dinner with the Quan side of the family. Jane, Jeff, & Justin Bell drove down from Chico. Ben, Judy, and their two kids, Michelle and Rachel, came in from Encino. Helen and Amy were both there, and the only Quan missing was Tom and his family.
On the Gee side was our family, Ron's mom, Sue; and Jan & Mike Low's family.
We had dinner at Ten Ten Seafood in Artesia, which was unfortunate for the Quan girls because they didn't like seafood.

Ron's friend, Nel Nadal, from the Developmental Disabilities Immersion Program (DDIP), flew out to Long Beach for a visit. We got together with her and her husband, Dick Barber, plus Mira Martyn and Janette Beasley.
